![]() Here's what the tops of my SNES drawers look like to give you a better idea Mario RPG and Super Turrican not pictured because one is in my SNES and the other one next to it :) Which additional SNES ROMs would run on Nintendo's official SNES Emulator? As I said, I never stopped playing retro games so I don't play them for nostalgic reasons but rather because they're fun to me, I play all sorts of stuff not just the popular classics. How does the SNES Classic compare as a purely emulation device for C64, Atari systems, TurboGrafx16, NES, SMS, SNES and MD/Genesis to the devices I emulation devices I already own, a modded original XBox and Wii. This is just some background info I felt would help give you guys a clearer picture of whether or not the system might be for me. Tho even emulation I much prefer on my CRT through my modded original Xbox or Wii. I use both emulation and actual hardware for my retro gaming, I like playing retro games on my CRT but when I do play on HD TVs/Monitors I like using Retroarch's excellent CRT Filters. I didn't plan on buying a SNES Classic initially but a friend of a friend had one sent to him from the US and after playing the system and comparing games side by side with actual hardware I came out very very satisfied and started considering getting one for myself maybe. There is a guy selling a SNES Classic here but he sells it for 200 euros which is half of what most people make in a month, there has been a massive influx of greedy uneducated people trying to cash in on retro games that simply don't sell here in the past 2 years, but that's a whole different topic. I do have a massive collection of high quality original SNES games, I play both my US and PAL SNES as well as all my other retro systems a lot, I never really stopped playing retro games. ![]() I live in Europe, in Macedonia where the system is impossible to find.
